HansaWorld achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification

As HansaWorld moved to 100% remote working, we felt the need to review our internal processes to ensure our data security meets the highest standards. With many other companies also allowing some of all of their staff to work from home, data security becomes more challenging. With these changes we opted to have ourselves certified to confirm our new environment for working would maintain the high levels of security by which we have always operated.

Cybersecurity is in top 5 things that buyers of ERP software review these days. While our products have always been top of the industry in this regard, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification recognizes that we are at highest standard for security”, says HansaWorld’s International Operations Manager, Jennifer O’Carroll.

Based on this global trend of increased cyber attacks, we improved our functionalities including password security, backups security, and remote access as part of our overall aim to strengthen the product security.

HansaWorld highlights the importance of cybersecurity for every business. According to Cybercrime Magazine, global cybercrime costs will increase by 15 percent every year, reaching $10.5 trillion USD by 2025, so using a secure ERP system is essential. One of the recent examples is critical Log4j venerability. Read our article to see how our customers remained unaffected by this vulnerability.
